About Me

I am an educationist with over 30 years UK experience in the teaching, learning and assessment of Computing & ICT alongside 5 years of teaching Business Management and 3 years as pioneer Expat Head of IT & Network Manager.

Currently, I am a Mentor at the University of Greenwich and a Senior Lecturer of Computer Science at Harlow College where I solely manage and implement the following courses:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Web Application Development
  • Level 4 Diploma in Network Engineer
  • Level 3 Diploma in Infrastructure Technician
  • Level 3 Diploma in IT Solutions Technician

My core experience span secondary, further and higher education levels with differentiated, diverse student groups alongside departmental course management. I possess valuable interpersonal, social and classroom management skills that gives me the ability to develop and maintain steady progress and high students achievements.

I am a graduate of Software Engineering, a Certified Teacher (Cert.Ed.), Assessor, Internal Verifier, an External Examiner and a member of both the British Computer Society and UK Institute for Learning; I am positioned with the ability and knowledge to guide, coach, mentor and engage with diverse students in a diverse academic and work environment.

In industry, I have served as both an Operations & IT Director (Expat) as well as a Regional Sales Manager in Nigeria for International Oil & Gas sectors (IOC) where I directed and steered the affairs of the company in the direction of  its vision and mission.

I was also a project manager; I managed timelines, developed quality assurance and represented IOC partners in deal brokerages. I also provided end-to-end enterprise solutions for corporate image development, business strategy management and sales campaigns.

Privately, I am the founder of a Nigeria-based Education Foundation in Port Harcourt providing nursery and primary education – a charitable way of giving back to the youths of the local community.

I reside in the UK with my wife and children.
